Justin began his ballroom dance journey in 1999, following distinguished service as an Army Ranger with the 3rd Ranger Battalion, where he earned the Army Commendation Medal. A spontaneous audition at TC Dance Club in Satellite Beach, FL, launched his dance career—he was hired on the spot and quickly became a sought-after instructor known for developing strong, confident dancers.
In 2003, Justin received the Top Teacher award at a national competition, recognizing his dedication to student success and excellence in instruction. He went on to teach at Society Hill Dance Academy in Philadelphia, PA, where he choreographed hundreds of unforgettable wedding routines, performed at local events, and trained alongside Professional Czech National Champions. Over the years, his students have consistently earned top placements at competitions, including titles like Top Junior, Top Newcomer, and multiple category-specific awards.
Outside the studio, Justin also built a successful career in healthcare, serving as a licensed assisted living administrator and marketing director. Even while managing leadership roles in that field, he remained committed to dance—teaching at respected studios including Fred Astaire Dance Studio (Orlando), Longwood Ballroom (Longwood), and A Social Affair Dance Studio (Jacksonville).
Today, Justin teaches as an independent instructor under his business – primarily working out of Tango and Ties in Rockledge, FL. He offers personalized instruction for all levels—whether you’re looking to feel confident on the social dance floor, prepare for a special event, or pursue competitive dance.
With over two decades of experience, Justin believes teaching dance is more than a passion—it’s a specialized skill rooted in clear communication, movement mastery, and student connection. Most importantly, he ensures every lesson is engaging, empowering, and fun.
Justin is often accompanied by Forest, his loyal Cane Corso and trained service dog, who enjoys quietly watching lessons—or occasionally stealing the spotlight with a surprise appearance on the dance floor.
